Founders' Note

Hello - so happy to see you on our site! As you navigate this website, i thought i would quickly introduce myself. We at TCC are always looking to widen our circle and build relationships that will endure.

So here is how it all started - our quest for 'deliberate living'. 

I walked away from a career that many would call “successful.”  The money was great. The pace was supersonic. And somewhere along the way, I stopped noticing my life.  I worked hard and partied harder. I had everything, yet the joy in everyday moments had quietly disappeared. I didn’t want more things. I wanted to connect.

Thus began The Clay Company - as a quiet rebellion against haste — a return to hands, breath, and time. In a world that moves too fast and asks too much, clay taught me to slow down, to listen, and to be present. 

From our sun-drenched, Bohemian-Mediterranean studio in Gurgaon, we invite people to pause. To trade screens for soil, urgency for intention, and noise for the simple rhythm of making. Here, clay becomes a medium for connection — with oneself, with others, and with the moment.

Through thoughtfully crafted ceramics, immersive workshops, and soulful gatherings, The Clay Company celebrates deliberate, intentional living. We believe beauty is born when time is honoured, hands are involved, and creation is allowed to unfold naturally.
At heart, we are not just shaping clay — we are shaping moments of stillness, warmth, and belonging.

I guess it all boils down to life style, to life choices. how we chose to spend our time, what we chose to surround ourselves with.  And that is what The Clay Company is about. We are a ceramic lifestyle brand.
