• Our Teaching Philosophy

    • We are small but consider ourselves a "teaching" institution.  We take the business of teaching & learning (by corollary) very seriously!
    • We believe in hands-on instruction delivered by experienced and professional teachers and are committed to helping you learn and progress your level of skill.  We will chart and track your progress so that at the end of your ‘pack’ you can have a clear idea of the skills you have picked up and the proficiency you have achieved.
    • When you buy your first Pack of sessions at TCC, one of our trained instructors will do a Needs Assessment to understand and document the level of skill you are coming in at, your aspirations, and help chalk out a customised and realistic path to get there.  We will build into this path, milestones where we will together assess your skill development and take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Our Facilities… at our New Delhi Studio

    • Equipment: we have 4 electric wheels, an electric test kiln, an electric production kiln and a motor-run slab roller
    • We have a wonderfully informal and cosy lounge space where you can snack and chat over a tea/coffee - where you can squeeze together with a friend and enjoy a salad/sandwhich/pasta and some coffee!
    • Library: we have a small but ever growing library of pottery/ceramics books you are welcome to browse in our tiny lounge.

Why Us

  • With TCC, you will never 'miss a class'!

    • At TCC, we realise how busy you are - be it work, travel, home, family - there are a million demands on your time.  You never miss a session that you have paid for because we give you the flexibility to come in any day that suits your convenience.  Just call to give us a heads up.  However, all courses must be completed within 6 months of purchase.

  • Our Faculty

    • At TCC, we work with a panel of carefully selected artists and/or experienced potters.  We believe that as a skill, teaching has a place of its own; an accomplished artist or a talented potter, may not necessarily be a good teacher!

    • Hence in selecting our instructors, we look for people who have experience with, and knowledge of pottery/ceramics and who are dedicated to improving the skill of our clients.  In particular, the people we select as instructors are passionate about teaching, have the patience to work with guests of all levels of proficiency, encourage creativity, and take pride in helping their students achieve greater levels of proficiency in the making of ceramics.
